‘I abandoned my son to clean mansions abroad – now I earn fortune as racy model’

A former cleaner who made a gut wrenching decision to leave her little boy in Brazil so she could earn more cash abroad is now reaping the rewards.

Mayara Lopes could not afford to bring her six-year-old son with her after ditching the small city of Jacareí in order to chase the American dream.

The single mum found work as a cleaner and spent her days brushing and scrubbing mansions owned by the wealthy.

She went on to start her own cleaning company but packed it in for adult modelling regularly earning six figures as a top OnlyFans creator.

The gorgeous mum is now reunited with her son and the pair enjoy a quality of life that once seemed unreachable.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, the OnlyFans star said: “I am so proud of myself, life has not been easy but when I look back I am so thankful and joyful about my achievements.

“I’m just happy to be a successful, independent woman. My life has changed so much to a point where I don’t even recognise the old me in my past life, it feels like more of a dream, or sometimes a nightmare.

“I don’t think I could do any other job that would’ve made me the amount of money OnlyFans made me in such a short period of time.”

Mayara headed to the US in 2013 when she was 26, shortly after the death of her dad.

She had been obsessed with American culture and Disneyland and moved to Florida where her first job was in cleaning.

But opening up about leaving her precious boy in Brazil, she said: “When I moved to the US I had to leave everything and everyone behind.

“It was one of the hardest things I had to do. My son was six when I left and I couldn’t afford bridging him and my mum, so they both stayed until I could afford to support them.

“Unfortunately my mum passed away before I could move them here but my son is with me and he is the reason why I try so hard. I want him to have a beautiful life.”

And she now does that by selling saucy images on OnlyFans.

Mayara had no hesitations about joining the subscription site because she has “always been the rebel of the family” and is unconcerned with the opinions of others.

And the benefits have been enormous.

She added: “I’ve always loved expressing myself through my body. There’s something about nudity that has always been connected to freedom and self love.

“OnlyFans has changed my life in so many ways. Not only financially but it’s amazing to be my own boss and do what I love.

“Being a single mum isn’t easy but because of OnlyFans I’m able to provide a comfortable life for my son and I. I never imagined being able to make so much money by myself and knowing that six figures isn’t that hard to achieve.”

Despite her earnings, Mayara is trying not to buy anything too extravagant until she makes more shrewd investments.

Her son, now 15, receives a good education and although sensible with her money, the mum treated herself on occasion.

This includes her swanky Mercedes with custom wheel rims and a “crazy expensive boob job” in Beverly Hills.

She has now been in America for almost 10 years, and asked whether she misses home, she gave a candid response.

“I don’t miss Brazil,” she said. “Maybe the food and the beaches but everything else isn’t for me.

“I only visited once and it is shocking to go back. Living in a third world country is wild. The infrastructure is horrible, the internet is slow and the worst part was I was always afraid to be robbed.

“I haven’t been that way for some many years.”

And another thing Mayara certainly does not miss is cleaning the homes of other people.

She said: “I love cleaning and I am always proud to tell people where I started but if I had to go back to cleaning three mansions a day to make a living I would be extremely depressed.

“Cleaning isn’t so much the problem, the problem is that this type of work is not valued by clients how it should, the pay is too low for the amount of work you have to do.”

And although she does not long for home either, she will be cheering on the boys in yellow during the World Cup.
